Anywhere But Dinner and a Movie...

Okay, well not really "anywhere" but I think you get the point. You want to stay as far away from the generic date night as possible. And taking her out for a dinner and a movie is probably as generic as it gets.

And you are not being smart by switching it up and taking her to a movie and then dinner. Just stay away from both of those for a first date.

If not, you will be at dinner awkwardly facing each other as you fight off the urge to turn the date into an interview just to dodge those awkward silences.

When I refer to an interview, I mean you will start asking her every little thing about herself, as if she is applying for a job (ie. Where are you from? Where do you live?).

And if you think the movie will be a bit better, you are definitely wrong. The both of you will feel this awkward tension since you will not have a clue when a good time will be to "make a move" and she will be wondering when it is coming the entire time.

The Mall

The mall is a great place for a first date. There are tons of things going on, tons of external stimulus to keep things interesting. In other words, you will not have to worry about those awkward silences because there is always something to draw her attention to at the mall.

Another great thing about going to the mall for a first date is that it conveys that the date is not a big deal. And it also tells her you're fine with starting things off very casually, with no pressure for some sort of serious relationship.

There are also a few games you can play at the mall for fun. For example, pull out the change you have in your pocket and the two of you can search for the coolest thing you can buy for that much money.

Take Her Outside

The outdoors is a great place to take her on the first date. Just make sure you know what you are doing with regards to the activity. You want to show her that you are in your element in the outdoors. This will go a long way in conveying that you truly are an Alpha man who isn't afraid to get a little dirty to have fun.
